About Students
The Analytics Capstone Course provides students with an opportunity to apply their collective knowledge and skills in analytics to solve challenging problems. Students are skilled at cleaning and organizing data, predictive and prescriptive analytics, and visualization in Tableau.
About Program Goals
The learning objectives for the course are the following:
- Allow students to apply their knowledge and skills in analytics to solve challenging problems.
- Provide students with the opportunity to work collaboratively in teams to solve real-world problems.
- Develop students' ability to clean and organize data effectively.
- Enhance students' knowledge of predictive and prescriptive analytics.
- Improve students' ability to visualize data using Tableau.
- Provide students with experience in delivering presentations and reports.
- Encourage students to develop critical thinking skills.
- Facilitate the development of teamwork, time-management, and communication skills.
- Provide a high-level understanding of how analytics can be applied to solve problems in a real-world setting.
